Ok, it's a Tuesday afternoon - but I keep thinking it's Wednesday - and I've been sitting here all afternoon trying to write a new song about war but not wanting to be controversial (it's my Southern gentleman roots coming out). But the only thing that I keep thinking is "man, I'm hungry." My protein levels must be low because I want a good barbecue. Canada has no good BBQ places - they just slop the sauce on and call it BBQ. I might need to go home because I have a hankering for slow roasted back ribs or brisket...or one of them big ol' chopped sandwiches that you need to be hosed off after eating. The hell with war songs...I got to eat...

OK - last weekend was spent at Glen Murlene studios. Al is going to go on and on about what happened. I just want to do an anticipatory strike to let you know it's all lies. We are getting turned on to Canadian beer and other local libations. Brings back all those memories of the swill we consumed growing up (at least we had Jack Daniels).
Our feud with the Letterman producers is still going on - no appearance in sight on "The Late Show" and I doubt there ever will be. And since when do mucisians have trouble crossing the border - especially when they're American citizens?? Anyway, more on that later.
We have lots more to do in the studio. We had a 4 week writing session in Europe prior to getting into the studio. Nothing brings on the creative juices like overpriced food in Italy.
I'll keep you all in the loop. And our management company asks that our fans to stop sending gifts in the mail. We're sure some form of laws are being broken!!
